A Scottish Rose

What do you get when a 10 year old Glengoyne Single Malt Whisky meets Fentimans Rose Lemonade? A Scottish Rose of course. Another great cocktail you just have to try!

What makes this drink so special is that the Rose Lemonade is not extremely sweet, making it very delicate and allowing the whisky to really come through. Add a dash of Angostura bitters in the mix, this is a cocktail that will make your mouth beg for more.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Glengoyne 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

  • 1 ½ ounces simple Syrup

  • 1 ½ ounces lemon juice

  • 4 dashes of Angostura bitters

  • 1 can Fentimans Rose Lemonade

Yields 2 glasses

How to:

Pour the whisky, the syrup and lemon juice over ice in a mixing glass or in a longdrink glass. Stir and then top off with Rose Lemonade. Add two dashes of bitters to each glass and gentle mix.

Praise to the Scottish Rose!
